Mr. Odom is a proud native of Ruston, Louisiana, and a graduate of both Cedar Creek School and Louisiana Tech University. He earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law (D.C.L.) from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. Deeply rooted in North Louisiana, Mr. Odom is dedicated to serving the people of his home community with the same commitment and integrity that have defined his life and career.
Before practicing law, Mr. Odom served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve as an infantryman and obtained the rank of Sergeant (E-5), completing two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. His military service instilled in him a relentless work ethic and a fierce sense of duty—qualities he brings into every case he handles.
Mr. Odom began his legal career as an insurance defense attorney, gaining invaluable insight into how insurance companies operate and how they work to minimize claims. He now uses that insider perspective to advocate for injured individuals and families, holding those companies accountable and fighting to secure full and fair compensation for his clients.
With extensive experience across a wide range of injury cases—including auto accidents, 18-wheeler collisions, wrongful death, and catastrophic injuries—Mr. Odom is known for his strategic approach, aggressive advocacy, and personal investment in every client he represents.
Unlike large, out-of-town firms that treat clients like case numbers, Mr. Odom is a true local attorney who understands the courts, communities, and people of Ruston and North Louisiana. He believes his clients deserve more than just legal representation—they deserve someone who genuinely cares about their future and will stand by them from start to finish.
Outside of the office, Mr. Odom is a dedicated husband and father. He has been married to his wife, Hope, for over 11 years, and together they are raising three boys. Mr. Odom enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing.
