Morris & Dewett began in 2001 in Shreveport, LA, by attorney Mr. Trey Morris. Quickly, the firm found its niche in personal injury law and its edge with trial preparation and litigation. As a plaintiff law firm, the initial challenge was to succeed against larger, more established firms and corporations. The key was preparation. A firm has to spend time and money on experts, jury analysis, focus groups, and document review to force the defense to come to the table with a fair offer and necessary compensation. Good preparation lets the opposing counsel know that they cannot steamroll the little guy.
