Every year, police stations around the country participate in a program that unites the community’s law enforcement with the local youth. During “Shop with a Cop”, police officers dress in their uniform and treat several lucky children to a shopping spree at the local mall. In order to partner with our community and keep this traditional event going on, Morris & Dewett Injury Lawyers donated a sum of funds to ensure the children were provided for during their special outing.
At our firm, we are always more than happy to participate in our local community, especially when it involves partnering with local law enforcement. “Shop with a Cop” not only gives underprivileged children a special opportunity to buy something nice but it also helps the local youth develop a friendly, accessible and respectful view of police officers. We are glad to be a part of it now and hope to continue our support in the future.
