The Spine Institute of Louisiana Foundation is a research and treatment center dedicated to the treatment of a wide range of spinal conditions and complex neck/back problems. With a goal to accurately diagnose and individually tailor treatment to every unique patient, the Spine Institute of Louisiana is made up of a team of qualified and dedicated medical professionals in the field of spinal treatment.
Because medicine is an area where all professionals are constantly seeking to better themselves, refine treatment and improve understanding of the science, the research division of the Spine Institute seeks creative ways to increase awareness and support for furthering resources and research in this area.
This year, Morris & Dewett Injury Lawyers was proud to be an official Gold Sponsor of the Race for Research, a fundraising event put on by the Spine Institute of Louisiana to give the community an opportunity to participate in its efforts.
The race is a 5K/10K run that followed the scenic route through the historic Fairfield Avenue neighborhood and took place on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Participants and spectators also had the chance to interact with the Health/Information Expo at the Race, which included a Blood Drive by the Life Share Blood Center, the Be the Match Bone Marrow Donor Registry and more. The event concluded with music from local and nationally recognized artists from the area.
