Investigations are ongoing after an accident that occurred along the exterior of a cruise ship killed a man on Sunday, October 20. The cruise ship employee was said to have been working on maintenance for the ship, and was on a lift machine. According to the statement issued by Carnival Cruise Lines, the worker sustained severe injuries after being caught between the lift and a lifeboat platform; he later died of his injuries. His identity was not released.
